WASHBURN
ＳＴＡＧＥシリーズ

個性的なエクスプローラー・タイプ

　ギブソン社のエクスプローラーの変形タイプのデザインですが、ボディにアッシュ材をしようしているので軽量で、しかもアームが装着されています。エクスプローラーのワイルドなサウンドでアーミングが可能という事でプロミュージシャンからも人気のモデルでした。最初は、ハムバッキングピックアップ搭載の上位機種Ａ−２０の他に、初心者向けのＡ−１０が発売されていましたが、ミュージシャンからの強い要望で、シングルコイルを搭載したＡ−１５も発売になり、エクスプローラーのデザインでシングルコイルの芯の太いサウンド、さらにギブソン･ファイアーバードのような枯れたサウンドの楽しめるＡ−１５は、プロ･アマ問わずに人気の機種となりました。ギターの他に、Ｂ−２０というベースも発売されていました。残念ながら、現在は製造中止の為、中古でしか入手できません。
